"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." -Hebrews 11:1
This book seemed different than other books I've read. This one was refreshing, creative, and very scripture oriented. I liked how the authors, Robin Jones Gunn and Tricia Goyer, put their hearts onto the pages for all to read. This book is separated by the things you should pray about for your future husband. This includes his heart, mind, and soul. It also means that you need to pray for yourself as well as your husband. It gives you back stories from Gunn and Goyer and then gives little testimonials from different people that praying for their future husbands has worked. It also gives a prayer for you to pray for your husband as well as yourself. I find this helpful to give a basis on what exactly to pray about. It also has 52 scriptures (perfect for one per week!) that you can read, study, and pray about. I liked how this has a Bible study feel to it, with the discussion questions and fill in the blanks. I know that some girls from my church has been studying this book over the summer, and it has helped them tremendously. I hope the people that read this book are able to find something about themselves and their many "requirements" for love.
